How to Sell Memberships and Packages in Your Own Studio App
Recommended next step
Launch your StudioCharge custom booking app
Mindbody-native booking, events, studio shop, and member social feed โ one branded app for your gym or studio.
A class pack sold in the Mindbody marketplace is a purchase inside someone elseโs app. The same pack sold in your studio app is a purchase under your name, from the same catalog.
The StudioCharge branded app pulls memberships, class packages, drop-ins, and retail from Mindbody. Members buy them in your iOS and Android app. You do not re-list products in a second store.

Quick answer
Keep products in the Mindbody catalog. The branded app shows them as catalog purchases and in the studio shop: memberships, packages, drop-ins, and merch. Purchases are unlimited on the $299/mo plan. Request early access to connect your site.
What members can buy
| Catalog item | Where it is managed | Where the member buys it |
|---|---|---|
| Memberships | Mindbody | Your branded app |
| Class packages | Mindbody | Your branded app |
| Drop-ins | Mindbody | Your branded app |
| Retail and merch | Mindbody catalog | Studio shop in the app |
Intro offers stay current because the shop reads the catalog. When you change a price or retire a pack in Mindbody, you are not also editing a separate in-app price list.
The studio shop is for merch and packages. Workshops and intro packs can be offered without sending the member out to a generic marketplace checkout.
How a purchase works
- You sell the item in Mindbody, the way you already do.
- Sync connects the site. Packages come in automatically with classes and members.
- The member opens your app and sees the buy screen: memberships and packages from that catalog, plus retail in the studio shop.
- They purchase inside the branded app.
- You can get a signup or purchase alert. Those alerts are part of the same plan as booking.
Membership access in the app means someone who already holds a membership can use it there, next to booking and the waitlist. Booking and purchases are both unlimited. There is no per-booking or per-purchase meter on the $299/mo card.
What you do not set up
- A second product catalog that you type in by hand
- A checkout that lives only inside the Mindbody consumer app
- A merch store on another platform that you have to reconcile against Mindbody
Mindbody stays the system of record for the catalog. The branded app is where the member completes the purchase under your logo.
Studio AI can help with purchasing questions in the app: passes, bookings, and studio questions, in member-friendly language grounded in your policies.
Pricing for the shop and the booking
Selling packs is not an add-on line. Catalog purchases for memberships, packages, and retail are on the pricing card with class booking, the member feed, Studio AI, email campaigns, and push.
The fee is $299 per month for the full studio app. See how it works: sync Mindbody, brand the app, start that subscription, and launch to the App Store and Google Play.
If you also send a trial or promo when a package expires, that is the upsell engine, covered in email and push for trial and promo offers.
